Biofuels Research

A few years ago, the University of Georgia (UGA) Engineering Outreach Service (EOS) used fats and grease as industrial boiler fuels in the 100,000 lb./hr. No. 2 boiler at the university’s steam plant. The project was funded by FPRF and the Poultry Protein & Fat Council of the U.S. Poultry & Egg Association.
